Soap can cleanse the outside, but our greatest need is a clean heart. The Bible tells us that cleansing, forgiveness, and eternal life are found through Jesus Christ.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10
We All Need a Saviour
Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard. Sin separates us from a holy God, and no amount of good works, religion, or outward cleaning can remove it.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Jesus Paid the Price
God loves us so deeply that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived without sin, died on the cross in our place, and rose again. He took the punishment we deserved so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
Receive His Gift by Faith
Salvation is not something we earn. It is God’s gift, received by turning to Him and trusting Jesus Christ alone as Saviour.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13
